- Improve self-confidence and psycho-social advantages
- Reduced risk of injury to protruding or prominent teeth
- Influence the growth of jaws to produce a better facial profile

Our Orthodontics
We have many options customised for each patient.
Metal Braces
Fixed braces, sometimes known as ‘train track’ braces is a common Orthodontic treatment . This system uses a combination of metal brackets and flexible wires to gently move your teeth. Most orthodontists believe this is the most effective and precise way to move your teeth. The metal brackets we use are very small – smaller than the ones that many people remember from 10 or 20 years ago. Younger patients can have multi-coloured brackets.
Ceramic Braces
Ceramic fixed braces are a popular option for adult patients needing the precise, detailed movement achievable with traditional metal braces but who want a less noticeable alternative. Using brackets made from a clear ceramic material which is tooth-coloured, ceramic braces/clear braces work in the same way as metal braces.
Clear Aligners / Invisalign
Invisalign straightens teeth using a series of nearly invisible, removable clear braces that are custom-made specifically for your teeth. Invisalign uses 3D software – “Clincheck” – that shows the movement of your teeth over the course of your treatment. As you replace each aligner every two weeks, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week, gradually moving towards the projected final position.
Removable Braces
Traditional removable braces are still used in modern orthodontics. There are very good at quickly moving teeth in some situations but they lack the precision control that we have with fixed braces. We sometimes start with removable braces for the big movements and then switch to fixed braces for the final precision detailing. Removable braces usually need to be worn full time and some adults find them bulky and difficult to tolerate.
